Ms. Shweta Goyal
Assistant Professor

Ms. Shweta Goyal is a faculty of Biotechnology at IILM, Greater Noida. She comes with an more than five years of research experience as an AcSIR PhD student (Biological Sciences) under the esteemed supervision of Dr Rajnish Kumar Chaturvedi, Senior Principal Scientist at CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow, UP, India. She has qualified the Joint CSIR-UGC test for Junior Research Fellowships and Eligibility for Lectureship (NET) held on 21 December, 2014 (All India Rank-50). She has presented her research work in several prestigious International & National conferences. She has submitted her doctoral thesis in the faculty of Biological Sciences in this year 2022. Her research area of interest are Neuroscience, Biotechnology, Stem cell biology, Toxicology, Mitochondrial Biology, Proteomics, Neurotoxicology, Proteostasis, Protein Trafficking, toxicological and analytical studies and Developmental Biology in both in vivo and in vitro models.. She is a Lifetime member of Vigyan Bharati Awadh Prant (VIBHA) India. She has been a two-year member of of the International Society for Neurochemistry (2018-2020). She received a Prestigious “Travel Award” from the ISN to attend and present a poster in the 2019 meeting of the ISN and the American Society for Neurochemistry (ASN), held in Montreal, Canada during August 4-8, 2019. She has also received the Esteemed “Young Investigator Award” from the XLIV Annual Conference of Environmental Mutagen Society of India and International Symposium on Present and Future Challenges of Xenobiotic Mediated Mutagenesis: Impact on Human Health & Environmental Safety for best oral presentation in the conference, held at CSIR-IITR, Lucknow, UP, India during February 18 – 20, 2020. She has published more than six research papers in peer-reviewed international journals in her Ph.D. career. She first time introduced the standardized protocol of Immunogold Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) in CSIR-IITR, Lucknow under the guidance of her Ph.D. supervisor, which was published in a reputed international journal.
