Tech in Food Technology with specialization in Dairy Science and Technology, Food Packaging and Food Process Engineering is a comprehensive four-year program offered by Department of Biotechnology, School of Engineering, IILM University, Greater Noida. This program produces skilled students who address the challenges of animal health and welfare, livestock farming, dairy processing, Dairy farm management, Dairy chemistry and Microbiology, Dairy Engineering, Dairy Economics and Marketing. Paper, metal, glass and plastic based Materials. Food packaging is a multifaceted subject that encompasses various aspects related to the design, materials, technology, regulations, and environmental impact of packaging used in the food industry. This specialized programme will also cover trends and developments in some of the key are as in packaging like smart packaging and intelligent packaging and edible cutlery. The course will also focus on how food packaging plays a significant role in economy as well as in increasing the shelf life of the fresh and processed food products in our country.

Tech in Food Technology with a specialization in Food Process Engineering aims to gain knowledge about a multidisciplinary professional field that interprets the application of engineering principles food matrix, and mathematical solutions to food manufacturing and operations, including the processing, production, handling, storage, conservation, control, packaging and distribution of food products. Due to the complex nature of food materials, food engineering also combines the study of more specific chemical and physical concepts such as biochemistry, microbiology, food chemistry, thermodynamics, transport phenomena, rheology, and heat & mass transfer etc.
