Mr. Vikas Chandra Gupta is currently working as Assistant Professor (Biotechnology) at IILM University, Greater Noida. He graduated in Biotechnology engineering with distinction in his M.Tech- Biotechnology (Major in Industrial Waste Management) and B.Tech-Biotechnology (Specialization in Industrial Microbiology) and is currently pursuing his doctoral studies on cellulosic bioethanol research from AKTU, Lucknow. He had been the recipient of various government funded research projects by UP-CST and CRIP-AKTU on Hydroponics and Biofuels research respectively. Apart from his doctoral research Mr. Gupta has also been involved in setting up a pilot scale hydroponics facility at IILM University Greater Noida Campus for pollution free agricultural produce at mass scale. Mr. Gupta has been appointed as Member (Reviewer) of the editorial board of the Journal of Agricultural Research recently. Apart from his academic research activities he had also been involved at various administrative capacities at institutional level like Coordinator-M.Tech. Biotechnology Program, Incharge of DBT Laboratories, Member of NBA accreditation team, Controller of Examinations, Centre superintendent (IILM)-AKTU examination.
