Dr Meenu Singh is a seasoned academician with a persistent passion for continuous learning. She received her master degree in Biotechnology from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut and completed her Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Dr B R Ambedkar Univesity, Agra. She had completed her Master dissertation work from Department of Plant Molecular Biology, Delhi University, South Campus and Ph.D. research work from G B Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar in year 2003. Dr Singh has varied experience of more than 24 years in teaching and research. She began her career as Senior Research fellow in the year 1999 from G B Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. In the year 2003, she joined MIMT, Greater Noida as Lecturer. Later, in the year 2005 she joined IILM CET, Greater Noida. Currently, she is working as Professor in the Department of Biotechnology. Dr Singh has widely contributed towards Institution building and performed leadership roles in NBA and NAAC accreditations and academic administration.
Keeping her journey to contribute in the areas of Research Dr Singh has published several research papers in National and International journals and presented various research papers in India and abroad. She is approved supervisor in the field of Biotechnology in Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. Currently, numbers of students are pursuing their PhD programme under her guidance. She has also been the Reviewer of various research papers and PhD thesis. She has also presented research papers in international Conferences in Germany, Thailand and Australia. Dr Singh has been associated with reputed organizations like IARI, AGILE, KGMU, IET Lucknow and Dabur for Research & Collaboration. Dr Singh has completed four projects funded by Council of Science and Technology, Uttar Pradesh and one project funded by Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow under the Collaborative research promotion scheme. She also has one granted patent, one published and one filed patent to her credit.
Dr Singh has also been recipient of various seminar grants, travel grants, conference grants, FDP grants from AKTU, DST, AICTE, and UPCST. She is the member of i-Xplore International Research Journal Consortium. She is life member of Society of Plant Reproductive Biology. She is also a Research Mentor for VSRD International Journals. She is the Co-convener of Board of Studies, Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. Dr Singh has also been felicitated by Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh, Uttar Pradesh for her contribution in the field of education.
