Dr. Garima Gupta joined IILM in 2012 and currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Biotechnology. Before joining IILM she has worked at Hindustan College of Science and Technology from 2010 to 2012. She had completed her M.Tech. from Anna University, Chennai with distinction. She has achieved all India first rank in CEEB exam for M.Tech. Program and received scholarship from Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India. She has research experience in the field of pharmacognosy, cancer biology and food supplements. She has worked on a project funded under AKTU Collaboration research scheme in the capacity of Co-PI on water remediation using natural resources. She has worked on various projects in the domains of characterization of monoclonal antibodies, effect of active extracts on Differentiation therapy in HL-60 and A549 cell line invitro, cytotoxic and genotoxic analysis of pesticide and synergistic effects of antioxidants on shelf life of edible oil. She is an active member of Association of Food Scientists & Technologies (India) in the Delhi Chapter. She is been on the editorial board of Research & Review: A Journal of Life Science and Research & Review: A Journal of Food Science & Technology.
