Dr. Aruna Rani

Dr. Aruna Rani is a faculty of the Department of Biotechnology at IILM University, Greater Noida. She received her full-time Ph.D degree from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG) in the field of Enzyme biochemistry and Structural biology. She comes with an enriching research experience of 9.5 years. Dr. Aruna gained her Postdoctoral research experience from Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Faridabad and International Centre for Translational Eye Research, Polish Academy of Science, Warsaw, Poland where she has expanded and integrated her skills in crystallography with other biochemical and biophysical techniques. During her Ph.D, she received DBT Travel grant to present her research work at the International level in Carbohydrate Bioengineering Meeting (CBM11) 2015, Aalto University, Espoo, Finland.
She has Qualified CSIR-NET JRF (2010) and GATE (2010, 2011). Dr. Aruna has published many research papers and book chapters in reputed International/National journals (Microbiology Spectrum, Carbohydrate Polymers, IJBM) with approx. 166 citations h-index 7 and i10-index 7. She is a lifetime member of Association of Microbiologist of India (AMI). Her current area of research is Molecular biology, Enzyme biochemistry and Structural biology.
