Embarking on a journey of exploration and learning, the Department of Biotechnology, School of Engineering at IILM University organized an industrial visit to Bikano, Jewar on 8th February 2024. As budding biotechnologists, students witnessed how theoretical concepts translate into real-world applications. Students embarked on a guided tour of Bikano’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. From raw material processing to packaging, they witnessed every stage of production and gained insights into the role of biotechnology in enhancing efficiency, quality, and safety standards. By immersing themselves in the practical applications of biotechnology in the food industry, students enriched their learning journey and emerged with newfound knowledge, inspiration, and enthusiasm. This excursion promised to be an enlightening experience, offering students a firsthand glimpse into the application of biotechnology in the food industry.
