Ms. Somya Sharma is an Assistant Professor in School of Liberal Arts & Humanities at IILM University, Greater Noida. she is has joined us with over and above seven years of experience in academics and the corporate sector. She is UGC-NET qualified and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. from MRIIRS. Her research topic is ‘Representation of Caste in Regional Cinema: An Analytical Study of Content on Over-the-Top Platforms.’ She did her graduation in English Literature from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University, and her post-graduation in Journalism and Mass Communication from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Her areas of interest in Media Studies are Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, and Film Appreciation.
