Mr. Gaurav Kumar is an Assistant Professor in IILM University Greater Noida and Ph.D. Research Scholar (Senior Research Fellow) at Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. His research interests and expertise deals with POCSO Act, Child Rights, Cyber-crimes, Criminal Laws, Constitutional Law, Legal Research Methodology, Comparative Public Law, Contract Law, Property Law, Human Rights, Gender Justice etc. He also taught as Visiting Faculty at Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi.
He has an impressive publication record, with numerous research articles published in UGC Care and Peer Reviewed Journals as well as contributed Chapters to several Edited Books by renowned publishers. He has presented Papers in more than 20 International and National Law Conferences and Seminars organized by the most reputed universities and colleges including University of London, NLSIU Bengaluru, NLU Delhi, National Forensic Sciences University etc.
He has been a Senior Researcher in Central Ministry Project on “Affordable Shelters for Street Women and Children – A Case Study of Delhi” conducted by CEERA, National Law School of India University, Bengaluru in collaboration with Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi under the aegis of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India.
He has been invited as Resource Person and Expert Panelist by several Institutions, Forums, Doordarshan etc. and has chaired the sessions of different International and National Conferences, Seminars etc. He is Senior Editor of Law Teachers India, Editor of Indian Journal of Law and Society, and Reviewer at African Law University Journal.
He has been invited to Judge the different National Level Competitions like Moot Courts, Advocacy Trials, Client Counselling, Judgement Writing, Essay Writing etc. by different reputed Universities and colleges like Christ University, Delhi NCR Campus, Amity University Jaipur, SGT University Gurugram, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies, Delhi etc.
He has taught different subjects like Contract Law, Property Law, Cyber Law, Jurisprudence, Comparative Public Law etc. to BALLB, LLB as well as LLM students. He has shown a remarkable ability to contribute to the legal academic community through the active participation in different Academic and Research Projects, Edited Books, Workshops, Faculty Development Programs, Refresher Courses etc. He has been coordinating and handling the different academic legal events as part of their Core Organizing Committees. He has completed different Certificate Courses to gain further expertise and command in areas of his interest, which are a testament to his dedication to advancing legal scholarship and education.
His experience as a Law Teacher and Researcher has equipped him with a deep understanding of contemporary legal and social issues, thus enabling him to offer a unique perspective to students.
