Dr. Nitu Maurya is an academic and researcher specializing in Economics, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at IILM University in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. She holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Economics at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, with a distinguished academic background, Dr. Maurya completed her post- graduation and graduation from Banaras Hindu University, achieving commendable grades in Economics. She also holds a UGC NET qualification in Economics. Dr. Maurya’s career spans various academic and research roles. Before joining IILM University, she served as an Assistant Professor at KCCILHE, Greater Noida Uttar Pradesh. She has also worked as a Research Associate at the Institute for Studies in Industrial Development in New Delhi and as a Research Consultant at Liberty Institute, New Delhi. Her research interests encompass a wide range of topics such as infrastructure development, economic growth, regional disparities, and sustainable development. Dr. Maurya has made significant contributions to her field, evident through numerous publications in books, chapters, working papers, and journal articles. She has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the Excellence in Research Award by NEBA and the Elsevier SSRN Young Research Award. Moreover, she has received accolades for her publications and presentations at various national and international conferences. Dr. Maurya is actively engaged in academia, serving as a speaker, session chair, and resource person at numerous workshops, seminars, and webinars. She is also an editorial board member and reviewer for various academic journals, showcasing her commitment to advancing scholarly research and publication standards.
