Dr. Kaifi Azam is working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Management at IILM University, Greater Noida. Dr. Azam holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD in Economics from the esteemed Aligarh Muslim University. His doctoral thesis investigated the intricate causal relationship between energy consumption and economic growth, illuminating a vital aspect of both the Indian and global economy. In recognition of his academic prowess, he was awarded a doctoral fellowship by ICSSR, New Delhi, and MANF-JRF.
Dr. Azam’s dedication to academic excellence is evidenced by his numerous publications in prestigious international journals, which are indexed by UGC and Scopus. He has also participated in numerous international and national workshops and seminars, presenting his research at various conferences.
Before joining IILM, Dr. Azam served as an Assistant Professor of Economics at IMS Unison University, Dehradun. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he coordinated the B.A. Economics (Hons) program and served as the university sports coordinator.
He has also worked as a Young Professional in the Department of Commerce within the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in strategic data compilation and analysis, addressing complex issues, maintaining proficient documentation, and facilitating effective communication within the department. Thus, as an young professional working directly from inside the office of Ministry, Dr. Azam has developed an extensive knowledge and perspective on various complexities of international business and has learnt to strategize plausible resolution of the same.
