IILM University proudly hosted its Literature Festival on February 8th and 9th, 2024, under the theme “Identity Narratives: Exploring Diversity in Contemporary Literature”. The event was a vibrant tapestry of panel discussions, book readings, and cultural performances that celebrated the rich diversity in literature. Highlighting the festival was Ms. Vidya Shah, a celebrated singer and musician, who captivated attendees with her session on the significance of diverse voices in contemporary music. The panel discussion, moderated by Ms. Aditi Gupta, featured luminaries such as Mr. Sharif Rangnekar, author and founder of the Rainbow Literature Festival; Ms. Rachana Yadav, MD of Hans magazine; and Mr. Suhail Mathur, author and founder of The Book Bakers. The festival also welcomed esteemed book publishers like Harper Collins, Rupa Publications, and Niyogi Books, alongside renowned authors Ms. Nandini Sen and Ms. Devapriya Roy, who shared their insights and experiences, making the event a cornerstone for dialogue and reflection on diversity in modern literature.
