Dr. Pankaj Sharma is associated with IILM University, Greater Noida since October 2024 as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biotechnology. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Biological Science from the Kusuma School of Biological Sciences (KSBS) , Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT-D), India. Earlier, he also holds the degrees of B. Tech. and M. Tech in Biotechnology from University School of Biotechnology, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi.
Later, he comes with an enriching post-doctoral teaching and research experience of 4.5 years, teaching undergraduate & postgraduate students at university level. His research areas of specialisation are Proteomics and Molecular Biology. He has published five research articles in peer reviewed, SCI-indexed scientific journals and presented his research work in five national/International conferences also.
After completing his Ph.D. from KSBS, IIT Delhi, he has worked in an INDO-UK collaborative project funded by DST and UKRI as a post-doctoral research associate at Department of Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology, IIT Delhi where his work was focused on finding the ‘Diagnostics for One Health and User Driven Solutions’ for Antimicrobial Resistance. He has a brilliant teaching experience in various reputed colleges such as Department of Biochemistry, Sri Venkateshwara College, University of Delhi and University School of Biotechnology, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Delhi.
