Dr. Syed Kumail Sajjad currently working as an Assistant Professor (Economics) at School of Humanities and Social Sciences, IILM University, Greater Noida. He successfully awarded Ph.D in Economic on the topic “Impact of Economic Diversification in U.A.E on India’s Trade Since 1991”. His was awarded ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship in 2020 for his academic excellence and qualified UGC NET-JRF and was awarded with MANF-JRF in 2021.
His areas of research revolves around International Trade, Macroeconomics, applied econometrics, and energy economics. His several Articles/Research Papers got published in ABDC and various national and international peer review journals, showcasing his expertise and findings in these fields.
Prior to joining IILM, Dr. Kumail was indulge in Procurement public policy formation and implementation and served as the Young Professional / Consultant in Public Procurement Policy Division, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal trade(DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India. During the course of his professional tenure, he accumulated valuable experience and honed his expertise in Economics, international trade, bilateral and multilateral trade relations, and foreign trade policy.
Dr. Kumail is a committed Economics Lecturer accustomed to delivering highly informative lectures in higher education courses. Excel in leading moderated discussions around current issues and guiding students through critical thinking exercises to support diverse approaches. He work with passion, energy and enthusiasm to enhance student engagement with complex curricular concepts. Maintained good working knowledge of current curriculum standards, tailoring teachings to fit. Developed tests and materials to assess and promote student learning objectives. Planned and developed homework assignments based on lessons taught and student development required.
