Dr. Amit Agrawal is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at IILM University. He is an alumnus of IIT (ISM), Dhanbad, where he earned his Ph.D. in 2018. He completed his M.Tech in Electronics Engineering from Thapar University, Punjab, in 2008, and his B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from M.M.M. Engineering College, Gorakhpur, in 2004. He brings with him a wealth of experience spanning 19 years across industry, research, and academia. He has worked with leading organizations such as HCL and STMicroelectronics Pvt. Ltd., both in India and internationally. Notably, he had the opportunity to work in Grenoble, France, where he contributed to a project at STMicroelectronics and was recognized for deploying the FVG framework. During his doctoral research at IIT, He focused on modelling higher-order converters and advanced analog circuit design using second-generation current conveyors (CCII). Utilizing tools like PSpice/OrCAD from Cadence, he successfully implemented and realized hardware circuit designs. He has published numerous research articles in reputed SCIE and Scopus-indexed journals and conferences. His academic contributions also include three patents and two textbooks.
Dr. Agrawal has collaborated with distinguished researchers and professors from prominent international universities, particularly in emerging fields such as quantum technology and explored it using IBM-Q’s open-source platform. His research areas of interest are Quantum Architecture & memory design, Quantum Algorithms and, Analog Integrated (AI) Circuits. Driven by a deep commitment to leveraging technology for national development, He remains passionate about advancing the frontiers of innovation and education.
