Ms. Soniya Sharma is an accomplished academician and researcher in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at IILM University, Greater Noida. She brings over five years of teaching and academic experience, having previously worked with Mangalmay Institute of Management & Technology and Teerthanker Mahaveer University.
She is pursuing her PhD in Computer Science from Delhi Technological University (DTU), New Delhi, and is UGC-NET qualified. Ms. Sharma holds an M.Tech (Honors) in Computer Science & Engineering and MCA (Honors), reflecting a strong academic foundation. Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, IoT, Data Mining, DBMS, and Operating Systems.
She has published multiple research papers in Scopus-indexed, UGC CARE, and international journals and conferences, and holds patent publications in AI-based intelligent systems, including a UK design patent. Ms. Sharma has actively participated in Faculty Development Programs organized by reputed institutions such as IIT Kanpur, enhancing her expertise in emerging technologies like Generative AI, Cloud Computing, Blockchain, and Research Ethics.
Beyond teaching and research, she contributes to institutional development through NAAC activities, academic coordination, FDP organization, and MoU monitoring, demonstrating strong academic leadership and commitment to quality education.
