Sonam Sirohi is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science & Engineering at IILM University, Greater
Noida. She is currently pursuing her PhD in the field of Image Processing and Machine Learning, with a strong
research focus on edge detection, medical image analysis, and deep learning–based techniques. Her academic
interests lie at the intersection of computer vision, artificial intelligence, and data-driven systems, with an emphasis on
developing robust and efficient algorithms for real-world applications.
With a solid foundation in computer science and emerging technologies, she has been actively involved in teaching
both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Her teaching portfolio includes core and advanced subjects such as
Software Engineering, Computer Organization and Architecture, Distributed Computing, and Cyber Security. She is
known for integrating practical examples, case studies, and research-oriented perspectives into her teaching
methodology, fostering analytical and problem-solving skills among students.
In addition to teaching, Sonam Sirohi is engaged in academic research, scholarly writing, and curriculum
development. She has contributed to survey papers, book chapters, and research works related to image processing,
machine learning, and smart computing systems. Her long-term goal is to contribute to impactful research and
innovation while mentoring students toward academic excellence and industry readiness.
