Ms. Ruchi Mishra is an Assistant Professor in the School of Management at IILM University, Greater Noida. She has submitted her thesis in Strategic Management at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Surathkal and is currently awaiting her doctoral defence. Her doctoral research, titled “Bridging the Strategic Gap: Dynamic Capabilities as a Pathway to Sustainable Performance and Competitiveness in Indian MSMEs,” focuses on how firms develop strategic capabilities to achieve sustainable performance and long-term competitiveness.
Her core areas of expertise include strategic management, dynamic capabilities, MSME strategy, entrepreneurial leadership, sustainable performance, and knowledge-based competitiveness, supported by a strong foundation in finance and accounting. Her research has been published in leading journals such as the Journal of Knowledge Management (ABDC A) and the Asia Pacific Journal of Business Administration (ABDC B), underscoring the academic impact of her work.
During her Ph.D. journey, Ms. Mishra gained valuable teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, where she emphasized strategy-oriented thinking, real-world business applications, and analytical decision-making. She actively contributes to the academic community as a reviewer for leading journals, including Business Strategy and the Environment and Entrepreneurship & Regional Development.
She remains deeply committed to advancing research-driven teaching and contributing to the strategic development of organizations, particularly in the MSME sector.
