Ms. Nishtha Negi is a doctoral research scholar in Behavioral and Forensic Psychology with a strong academic foundation in applied psychology and forensic studies. Her academic interests focus on forensic assessment, behavioral analysis, mental health advocacy, and evidence-based research with policy and social impact. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Behavioral Forensics at the National Forensic Sciences University and has joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology.
Ms. Negi holds an M.Sc. in Applied Psychology with a specialization in Forensic and Investigative Psychology from O.P. Jindal Global University. She completed her B.A. (Honours) from Miranda House, University of Delhi, where she developed a strong grounding in psychological theory and research methodology.
Her academic and research exposure includes specialized training at the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL), Government of India, where she gained hands-on experience in forensic assessment, criminal profiling, and psychological autopsy. She has also interned with the Forensic Psychology Division at CFSL, strengthening her applied forensic competencies.
In addition, Ms. Negi has professional experience as a Project Intern with Milestone NGO, contributing to community engagement initiatives and mental health advocacy programs. Her areas of interest include forensic and investigative psychology, behavioral assessment, mental health advocacy, and research-led policy interventions aimed at social impact and community well-being.
