Komal Salgotra is an Assistant Professor under the School of Computer Science and Engineering in the Department of Computer Applications, Gaming, and Graphics. With over five years of teaching experience, she is dedicated to nurturing technical excellence and innovation among students. She completed her Master’s degree from the Central University of Haryana and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the field of Medical Image Processing using Machine Learning techniques.
Her primary areas of expertise include image processing, medical image analysis, and the application of machine learning algorithms to solve real-world healthcare problems. She is passionate about integrating research with teaching, encouraging students to explore emerging technologies and develop practical solutions.
Beyond academics, she actively contributes to the university’s growth through her role in the Admissions Department. She also serves as the Faculty Mentor of the Coding Warriors Club, fostering a culture of coding, problem-solving, and competitive programming. Additionally, she manages responsibilities as a Department-Level Event Coordinator, promoting academic and co-curricular engagement within the department.
