Aina Mehta is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI/ML) at IILM University, with six years of teaching experience in higher education. She is currently pursuing a part-time PhD from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, with research focused on Machine Learning–based security and reliability challenges in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs).
Her research areas include Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Wireless Sensor Networks, Network Security, Intrusion Detection Systems, Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data Tools and Techniques, Computer Networks, and Operating Systems. Her doctoral work emphasizes the application of intelligent models for secure and reliable networked systems.
She has taught core undergraduate courses such as Python Programming and Database Management Systems (DBMS) and is actively involved in academic coordination and curriculum development. Currently, she serves as a Class Coordinator and Batch Coordinator and has mentored students on various academic and application-based projects. She has also contributed to designing and revising syllabi for the new curriculum, aligning it with evolving AI/ML and industry trends.
Her research contributions include seven conference publications, one patent, and one book chapter. Passionate about teaching and student development, she is particularly interested in placement-oriented training, simplifying complex concepts, and integrating real-world applications into classroom learning.
