Mr. Prakash Pal is an assistant professor at IILM University, Greater Noida. His academic and research interests lie at the intersection of data science, graphical models, graph machine learning, and graph coarsening. He focuses on developing scalable algorithms and analytical tools that enhance the understanding of complex datasets and their applications.
He earned his Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computer Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where his thesis explored entropy-regularised graph coarsening for scalable graph machine learning. He also holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Katwa College, University of Burdwan.
Mr. Pal has worked on diverse projects ranging from hybrid rainfall prediction models combining Hindu mythology with machine learning, operating system design in xv6 (MIT-DOS), and camera calibration, to advanced deep learning architectures such as CNNs, ResNets, and GANs. His research also extends to cryptographic algorithms and social network analysis.
