Mr. Mohd Azeem is an Assistant Professor of Finance & Accounting at IILM University, Greater Noida. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the Department of Management Studies, IIT Roorkee, and holds both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
He brings teaching and academic experience from reputed institutions such as Alliance University, where he taught finance and accounting courses across MBA, B.Com, and BBA LL.B. programmes. At Alliance, he also coordinated NBA and NAAC accreditation, mentored students, guided research dissertations for UG and PG, and led the Finance Club and Bloomberg Lab to promote experiential learning and financial literacy.
Mr. Azeem’s areas of specialisation include corporate finance, entrepreneurial finance, fintech, and startup ecosystem research. His ongoing doctoral work explores the influence of internal firm resources on the post-entry performance of incubated start-ups in emerging economies like India. His work has been presented at reputed international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals.
Beyond academia, Mr. Azeem is deeply passionate about innovation in higher education, the development of vibrant startup ecosystems, and enhancing financial literacy to empower students and communities.
