Mr. Dibyanarayan Hazra

Assistant Professor

Mr. Dibyanarayan Hazra brings more than 8 years of expertise in teaching, research, and entrepreneurship. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at IILM University, Greater Noida, and is pursuing his doctoral research in Computer Science Engineering at Bennett University, Greater Noida, India. He received his M.ASc. (Master of Engineering Studies) degree from the University of Auckland, New Zealand in 2016 and B.Tech. degree from the Future Institute of Engineering and Management, WBUT in 2011.

His research interests include Federated Learning, Deep Learning, Genetic Algorithms, Edge AI, Medical Image Analysis, and IoT-enabled applications. He has published several SCIE-indexed journal papers in reputed journals such as PLOS ONE, Computers in Biology and Medicine, and Food Analytical Methods, along with Scopus-indexed international conference papers including ACM ICCTA and IEEE SmartTechCon. He also serves as a reviewer for journals including PLOS ONE and World Journal of Surgical Oncology.

Alongside academia, Mr. Hazra is the founder of MESD Technology, where he has led innovation in AI-driven solutions, IoT applications, and digital transformation projects. He actively mentors startups and student innovators, guiding them in research, product development, and entrepreneurial strategy. In addition, he works as a trainer in IoT and Drone technologies, helping students and professionals build hands-on expertise in emerging domains. A recipient of the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship and an active IEEE member, he continues to integrate academic research with practical applications, fostering innovation across education, healthcare, and technology ecosystems.
