Mr. Deepanshu Moyal is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering. He completed his M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Analytics from National Institute of Technology Delhi.
His M.Tech thesis focused on heart disease prediction using Federated Learning, where he implemented multiple federated optimization strategies. He achieved over 96% accuracy using a Random Forest model with FedProx. Through this research, he gained hands-on experience in distributed machine learning, privacy-preserving AI, and model optimization techniques.
His primary research interests include Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, particularly applied machine learning, federated learning, robotics, and data-driven healthcare systems. He is proficient in Python and has practical experience working with Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and data analysis libraries such as Pandas. He has also developed several machine learning–based and full-stack projects demonstrating the practical implementation of AI systems.
As a dedicated academician, Mr. Moyal is passionate about teaching core subjects such as Data Structures, DBMS, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. He is keen to contribute to curriculum development, mentor student projects, and supervise research in AI and Machine Learning domains.
