Prof Narendra Kumar is a distinguished academician, researcher, and administrator with over three decades of teaching, research, and leadership experience in mathematics, computer science, and interdisciplinary domains. He is currently serving as Professor at IILM University, Greater Noida, UP.
He earned his PhD in Mathematics (2003) from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra, with his thesis on Computational Approaches to Mathematical Models in Biomathematics, following his M.Phil. in Mathematics with a Gold Medal and M. Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering (2011). He has also submitted a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence Applications to Management in Poland
Dr. Kumar has held several senior positions, including Dean, Head of Department, and Principal at leading institutions such as Poornima University, The ICFAI University etc His international exposure includes serving as Visiting Professor and collaborations with the University of Technology, Bahrain, where he co-hosted Scopus-indexed international conferences (SIMDTE-2023, SIMDTE-2025). He is also a Freelance International Expert for the scientific organisation TEADMUS, Estonia.
A prolific researcher, Dr. Kumar has contributed over 75 research papers in reputed SCI, Scopus, and WoS-indexed journals, alongside several book chapters in Taylor and Francis and Springer Nature . His works span biomathematics, deep learning, IoT, big data analytics and AI applications in management and healthcare. His international collaborations include co-authorship with researchers from Poland, China, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Estonia and Bahrain.
He has chaired multiple sessions in international conferences, delivered invited talks on mathematical modelling and AI, and presented papers at more than 35 national and international events. His innovative mindset is reflected through several patents in areas such as AI-based agriculture robots, IoT-enabled e-health systems, and machine learning models for accident prediction and heart rate monitoring.
Dr. Kumar’s research vision integrates mathematical modelling, artificial intelligence, and data-driven management systems, emphasising interdisciplinary approaches for sustainable innovation. His contributions have significantly advanced computational methods, applied mathematics, and emerging AI technologies in academia and industry.
