Dr. Fouzia Alsabah Shaikh, Associate Professor, Department of Psychology, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, IILM University, Greater Noida, was invited as a resource person at the Faculty Development Programme on Resilient Infrastructure for Inclusive Development organized by the National Institute of Disaster Management and Aditi Mahavidyalaya, University of Delhi. Her dynamic, hands-on session titled “Empathizing with Disabilities – Understanding Sensory Needs and Strengths” offered powerful insights into sensory integration and inclusive disaster preparedness, inspiring educators to prioritize Preparation over Panic through practical and inclusive strategies.
