Dr. Vikas Kamra is an accomplished academician and researcher having 20+ years of experience in the field of teaching, research and academic leadership. He has done B.Tech (CSE) in 2005 from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra; M.Tech (CSE) in 2011 from Ch. Devi Lal University, Sirsa and Ph.D (CSE) in 2023 from Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida. He has also qualified Haryana Post Graduate Teacher Eligibility Test for Computer Science in 2016. He worked at various engineering institutions of international and national repute, like Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lingaya’s University, KIET Group of Institutions and Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College. Presently, he is working as an Associate Professor in School of Computer Science and Engineering, IILM University, Greater Noida.
Dr. Kamra is enthusiastic about technological integration in education and interdisciplinary research for societal benefits. He is expert in Machine Learning and Healthcare Informatics with a strong background in Patent Innovation and Research Publication. He has published 14 Indian Patents and 57 Research Papers in various Scopus Indexed International Journals and Conferences, like Elsevier, IEEE, Springer etc. Presently, he is supervising 01 Ph.D Scholar in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He has successfully supervised 24 M.Tech Scholars, 08 MCA Students and 136 B.Tech Students in their Dissertation and Project Work. He received 01 Research Grant from NUEPA, New Delhi and got 04 Best Paper Awards at Scopus Indexed IEEE International Conferences.
Dr. Kamra also contributed as a Resource Person in 05 Faculty Development Programmes and organized 60+ FDPs, Hackathons, Conferences and Workshops. He has been invited as a Jury Member in IET India Scholarship Awards 2025 and served as Reviewer, Session Chair and TPC Member in 23 International Journals and Conferences. He has completed 55 certification courses from IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee, NPTEL, Coursera and LinkedIn. His ongoing projects include collaborative international and multidisciplinary research in AIML domain for prediction of various psychological diseases, like Bipolar Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Schizophrenia.
