Dr. Gazala Sharif is a distinguished academician and legal researcher, currently serving as an Associate Professor at the School of Law, IILM University, Greater Noida. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Rights Law from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, an LL.M. in International Environmental Law from Amity University, Noida, and a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from the University of Kashmir.
With over a decade of experience in teaching and research, Dr. Sharif previously worked as an Assistant Professor at Amity University, Noida, where she mentored postgraduate students and led academic programs across various legal disciplines. She is actively involved in social and legal advocacy, serving as the Vice Chairperson of Ibaadatkhana, an international NGO, and Vice President of the Chinar Foundation, where she focuses on socio-legal issues and cultural preservation.
Her scholarly contributions include numerous UGC Care-listed journal publications, book chapters, and research presentations at national and international conferences. She also serves as the editor of the Indian Journal of Law, Polity, and Administration (IJLPA) and has been recognized for her research, receiving the Best Paper Award at an International Multidisciplinary Conference in Dubai.
