Dr. Akhil Damodaran

Dean, School of Management

Dr. Akhil Damodaran is a visionary academic leader with a diverse professional background across telecom, IT, aviation, and education. Currently serving as the Dean of the School of Management at IILM University, Greater Noida,. he is leading pioneering efforts to integrate Artificial Intelligence, blockchain, and emerging technologies into the academic ecosystem.

He is also the Founder and CEO of Elteridium, a cutting-edge firm specializing in AI-driven decision-making and blockchain-enabled record-keeping solutions for public-private partnerships (PPP). In recognition of his transformative work, Dr. Akhil was recently honored with the Economic Times Outstanding Leadership Award for building a tech-enabled university.

In addition to his institutional leadership, Dr. Akhil is a mentor to the Entrepreneurial Cell at IIT Bombay and plays an active role in NITI Aayog’s Atal Tinkering Lab, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship among young minds. His industry experience includes senior leadership roles at France Telecommunication Group and Tata Communications Ltd.

Academically, Dr. Akhil holds a PhD in Management from UPES, a Master’s in Technology from IIT Delhi, and a specialization in Competition Law from the National Law University. He is also a TEDx speaker and recipient of the Celerity 40 under 40 Supply Chain Achievers Award (2021).

Driven by a passion for innovation, Dr. Akhil continues to bridge academia and industry, championing the use of AI and disruptive technologies to reshape the future of education and enterprise.
