Prof. U.M. Amin has been a result-oriented professional having about 48 years of experience that includes over 18 years in academics as Professor of Management studies.
His experience in industry, spanning over 31 years has been in the areas of Strategy formulation & implementation, Project Sales & Marketing, Business development, Key Account Management and Projects. He has been involved in marketing of capital goods.
A former Director and Professor of Management at Centre for Management Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University), New Delhi; Prof Amin has been teaching subjects that include Strategic Management, Marketing Management, and marketing elective subjects such as Advanced Consumer Behaviour, B2B Marketing, International Marketing, Sales and Distribution Management etc. for the last over 18 years.
Prof. Amin obtained B.E. (Hons.) in Chemical Engineering from BITS, Pilani and M. Tech. from IIT, Delhi. Subsequently, he completed M.B.A. (Marketing) and PhD (Strategic Management) from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi.
