Title: “Facilitating Women Prosperity with Higher Purpose at Vyomini”
Abstract: The theory of conscious capitalism is based on the idea that when business is done consciously, it promotes humanity intrinsically. This philosophy is rooted in the four tenets of higher purpose, stakeholder integration, conscious leadership and conscious culture and management as given by Mackey and Sisodia (2013). All social entrepreneurs are motivated by a higher purpose to provide sustainable solutions to neglected problems with the help of positive externalities (Santos, 2012). They have the capacity to envision, share and execute the deep-seated higher purpose (Mourkogiannis, 2006). Such a higher purpose with a social angle has been depicted in the case of Vyomini. The case is about a social entrepreneur Prachi Kaushik, the founder of Vyomini. She works for menstrual health and hygiene of unprivileged and rural women in India. Prachi’s constant endeavour was to create an ecosystem for the economic and social upliftment of these women through financial inclusion and livelihood training. She understood the problem, empathized with the women and provided a simple, economical manufacturing technique using locally available, biodegradable raw materials to provide an inclusive solution. This case describes her journey in creating an innovative business model by the adoption of design thinking and implementation of higher purpose in the business.

Title: “Impact of MOOCs on Indian Higher Education – An empirical study of student satisfaction”
Abstract: The rapid advances in pedagogical and technological innovations are redefining higher education in the last few decades and traditional universities are facing new challenges. The learning needs of the new genre of students are vastly different from their predecessors as the kind of skills they need to develop for the jobs of the 21st century are distinct. To inculcate the required skills, ICT played an important role in the development and emergence of technology integrated curriculum by percolating into our educational system (Poulin & Straut, 2016). Online learning emerged as an imperative paradigm of modern education unrestricted by time or place.
According to Allen and Seaman (2014) there are four categories of courses: traditional (fully face-to-face), web facilitated, blended/hybrid, and fully online. The concept of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) which will come under the fully online category was first introduced in 2010 by David Cormier (Comier & Siemens, 2010).The paper intends to systematically analyse the extant literature on various factors affecting learner satisfaction and propose a model with a specific focus on Indian students and propose a conceptual which can be further tested through statistical analysis.

Title: “A review on the comprehensive flame work of cognitive dysfunctions”
Abstract: Cognitive processes in the brain denote a relatively high level of psychological processing. The neural circuitry mechanism in the hippocampus is vital for cognitive functions like perceptual and intellectual functions, crucial for mental functioning. Cognitive dysfunctions are one of the most pre disposed disorders of the present times. As individual progress towards old age, they tend to become more prone to cognitive dysfunctions however old age is not the only criterion for developing cognitive dysfunctions. Brain injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis etc. can also lead to such impairments.
Brain atrophy and a number of life course factors like limited cognitive reserves, lack of physical activity, life time exposure to acute stress, dietary intake and limited or absence of social support can also lead to cognitive dysfunctions. Such deficits trouble shoot issues like abstract thinking and reasoning, visual spatial ability language, memory and comprehension among the individual population. This paper systematically reviews the role of each of these life course factors in making the population vulnerable to such cognitive dysfunctions. Review of literature reveals that cognitive dysfunctions might result in attention deflects, inability in rapidly processing information, retaining, memorizing and recalling information, delayed responding to stimulus information, incongruent speech and also complexity in critical thinking, planning organizing decision making and problem solving behaviours. It has been reported in researches that cognitive dysfunctions during old age impact the day-to-day functioning and ADL’s (activities of daily living) of individuals.

Title: “The Varied Paradigms and the Coordination and Cooperation of the Two Regions”
Abstract: The regions of Central Asia and India share a historical relationship which incorporates the political, economic and cultural dimensions in a defined proportion. With a thaw in the relations amongst them during the Soviet rule and a later realization of the significance of Central Asia for India, all seems to have been working in the right direction for the two regions.
The regions seems to be cooperating with each other well on the economic front with the recent unveiling of the TAPI gas pipeline, yet there remain some dimensions which though in commonality still remain unexplored to a large extent. This is the dimension of the linkage of the concept of terrorism and its linkage with the ethnicity and religion and both have had a major impact on the politics of both the nations. India and Central Asia on an individual front have faced a common enemy and that is that of terrorism which has not only hampered its development but also escalated the role of the unorganized criminal groups on the social front.
Thus the purpose of the paper is to highlight the linkage in terms of a common enemy where the application of secondary sources will be incorporated. In this globalized world where the geographical barriers stand diluted to much an extent ignorance of the vitality of the subject stands a reason for providing an impetus to such transnational organized criminal organizations.

Counterfeit Products
Credit rating evaluates credit worthiness of corporate and securities issued by government. It provides investors with unbiased reviews and opinion about the credit risk of various securities. The main aim of the chapter is to identify the relationship between the financial ratios and rating symbols. The sample of 158 firms is taken into consideration that discriminates best ratings given by credit rating firms. In order to examine the variability in ratings issued by various rating agencies, the time period of eight years starting from April 2009 to March 2017 has been selected. The study employed the multinomial logistic regression model to explain the relationship among the variables. The analysis suggests that variables such as debt to equity ratio, profit after tax, returns on capital employed, and return on net worth are those having the highest impact on ratings and thus there is also discriminating power among Indian rating agencies
FDI Inflows
The Indian population is increasing at an alarming rate causing threat to the economic development, not forgetting the fact that another sector that is increasing at the same rate is the counterfeit goods. One important fact that needs to be checked is why we find such an increase in the counterfeit products. The fact that the aspiration of the population is increasing, in desire to have luxury products needs to be explored. Objective of the study is to examine the attitude toward the counterfeit product in the market on various parameters. A total 1207 responses from 22 districts of Delhi & NCR were used to examine the probability of intention to buy counterfeit of Mobile phones & Watches; the study employed the factor analysis and logit analysis. Results revealed that counterfeit purchasers had lower perceptions of business ethics, implying that ethical beliefs may become the key to develop the strategies to reduce demand for counterfeit products.

Data Big Data with different NoSQL Paradigm
Digital world is advancing by leaps and bounds thus becoming complex in terms of volume, variety and velocity. This is called the Big Data i.e. a large chunk of combined structured, semi structured and unstructured data that cannot be steered by relational databases. A new trend referred to as web2.0 is now coming into picture due to massive growth in the Internet market and surfacing of the new web technologies[1]. In order to handle these challenges the concept of NoSQL technology has been evolved as an alternative to the traditional relational database systems. This paper targets at comprehending various aspects of NoSQL, its classifications, their characteristics and evaluation of each. It aims at providing answers of the problems of handling Big Data and their analysis.
A New Technique to Hide Information within Image File
In recent years, Steganography and Steganalysis are two important areas of research that involve a number of applications. These two areas of research are important especially when reliable and secure information exchange is required. Steganography involves embedding of message into a cover media and hides its existence. On the other hand Steganalysis is the technology that attempts to defeat Steganography by detecting the hidden information and extracting. So for the maintenance of secrecy either we need to make more robust steganography techniques against steganalysis or discover new and better techniques. In this paper, we propose a novel and more robust image steganography technique that embeds message into a cover media and hides its existence and can verify the reliability of the information being transmitted to the receiver. In order to hide secret data in cover-image it used the Image and Text files representation in Array, that takes the alteration component based approach and method of Palette Based Images. The bits of encrypted message will be hidden inside the stretched palette of image.

Bubbles and Recessions-A Behavioral Finance Contagion Effect on the BRIC Markets
Recession and bubbles have hit economies from time immemorial starting from the Dutch Tulip mania in 1637. In the 90s it was IT Bubble, 2000s have witnessed the real estate bubble and some like e-commerce bubble seems to be in the making. Europe has also witnessed its worst crisis with Greece on the brink of collapse. Analysts have tried to predict the financial markets with various techniques. Investor behavior is also studied by analyst and experts to gauge the investor sentiments pre and post event. The present study aims to study the volatility in the European markets and its behavior contagion effect/ spill-over effect on the Asian markets during the US 2008 crisis. The focus of the study is the BRIC economies comprising of Brazil, Russia, India and China during pre and post 2008 crisis. The study utilizes several technical analysis techniques such as lognormal return volatility, 15 days simple moving average and volume of trading during the pre and post crisis period. Herding behavior, Overconfidence, and Anchoring are some of the behavioral finance factors that impact the financial markets in times of bubble formation followed by burst/collapse and recession.
The study uses the time varying co-integration models such as multivariate time series model -MGARCH to establish coupling phenomenon amongst markets during this 2008-2009 turmoil period in order to ascertain the behavior contagion effect across the BRIC and European markets. The study evaluates the behavioral finance macro factors and its impact on the bubble formation and recession in the European markets. The study evaluates how speculative movements are followed by collapse in these markets. Behavioral contagion effect has been evident between European markets and BRIC markets. Moreover, high trading volume and herding behavior establishes the presence of Overconfidence and Anchoring Bias. The study can provide insights to research analyst and investors on the movement of markets due to certain behavioral factors.
