The Electronics and Communication Engineering Dept. imparts strong theoretical foundations and practical learning to the students on electronic devices as well as rigorous training in research, design, and development of such devices, and their broad-based applications. Established in the year 2002, this Department has always aimed for high growth path and has experienced and dedicated faculty with strong commitment to engineering education who work with enthusiasm to provide a vibrant and optimum learning environment to the students in order to help them excel in today’s competitive environment.ECE provides academic expertise and support to IILM-CET multidisciplinary quantum communication, quantum cryptography, quantum robotics, and black hole entropy and also software engineering programs like MATLAB, MultiSIM, Express PCB, Protius, LATEX, Lab View, Virtual SIM, Embedded Systems, VLSI etc.

Our research activities cover a wide range of fields, from quantum gate, green technology, renewable energy, power system and machines to breakthroughs in various technologies that will enhance communications across our global society. Our faculty members and students are creating low-cost virtual air writing, electrical appliances controlling via internet, pre-paid energy meter, IC tester in developing countries, and building real-time embedded systems that will advance the design and reliability of consumer and industrial products. For higher studies, we provide M. Tech with specialization in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. This provides the students a wide range of area for research work in the field of electrical power system, electrical machines, power electronics, electrical drives and instrumentation & control system. This leads the students to the gain advanced knowledge in Electrical as well as Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Candidate must have passed 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University; securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/ Reserve candidates) MARKS in required subject combination (two compulsory & one optional) taken together. The candidate is essentially required to pass without any grace marks.
